- Take your time to get to know the other person before agreeing to meet
- Meet in a public place and stay in public
- Tell a friend where you’re going
- Be in control of your transportation
- Stick to what you’re most comfortable with as to alcohol or drugs
- Don’t leave drinks or personal items unattended
- Trust your instincts--if you feel uncomfortable, leave.
